Game Rules

Please read the game rules carefully. We do not accept excuses like - I didn't know about these Rules.

Offensive character names
The character and guild names you choose must not contain any offensive language at all. Sexual, racism or in any way discriminatory content are not tolerated, as well as excessive swearing. We won't change your name, we will ban you. If you think it might break this rule, it probably will. Don't use it.

Multiple registrations
There is no reason using more than 5 accounts. If you are caught using too many accounts (above 10), all your accounts will lead to a ban and IP-range ban.

Responsibility
You take full responsibility for whatever happens with your account. It's you who must keep hackers, evil friends, younger brothers and other potential threats away from your account. The moment you have registered at InfinityMU you agree not to share your account to anyone.

IP Proxies
Pingbooster, WTFast & Exitlag Allowed Proxy Servers:
New York 1-8; (Allowed for all users)​
Chicago 1, 2 & 3; (Allowed for all users)​
Los Angeles 1-7 & San Francisco 1. (Allowed only for Asian users due only they have good connectivity to InfinityMU from LA and SF.)​
Canada all servers (Allowed for all users).​
InfinityMU is currently hosted in Canada. We recommend for you to connect to Canada in your proxy (PB/WTFAST/EXITLAG).

Sharing accounts
You are not allowed to share accounts with other players. This is for both our sake, and your own safety. You don't want to lose your account of some misunderstanding, and we sure don't want to hear you complaining about it.

Trading, selling, giving away
This falls under sharing accounts. You are not allowed to trade, sell, buy or even give away accounts. All accounts under the IP will be temporarily banned and the accounts involved will be deleted.

Our sister servers
It's strictly prohibited to trade, sell, buy or anything related to this, from Infinity to our sister servers. This can lead to temporarily or permanent account ban or even the deletion of it.

Real Money
Selling things for real money is prohibited at the whole community! If you get caught breaking this rule your account will end up banned temporarily as first warning and later permanently if you are caught again.

Email and password
The email address and password you choose must be unique and reachable. Remember your password and email and do not share them with anyone.

Do not ask to become one
Asking, begging or otherwise bothering us about this subject will lead to a temporary ban. Be sure not to be fooled by anyone impersonating us, asking you to become an admin or game master.

Bans and warnings
Breaking the rules leads to either a warning or a ban. This decision is taken by us and is definite. You may explain your behavior in a rational way, but whining and complaining will only lead to an extended ban. You can submit a ban appeal in our forums unless you have been advertising or insulted The Staff.

Asking favors
Admins and Game Masters is not able to do player's favors unless it is to fix an issue or other reason related to a problem. It's forbidden asking for items, credits, stats or anything material related from an Admin or Game Master.

Fooling and lying
Fooling or lying to Admins and Game Masters is not allowed. Providing false information such lost items or anything else will lead to account ban.

Fake admins, impersonators
It is strictly forbidden to impersonate an Admin or Game Master of InfinityMU. This means not only the name, but also contacting players outside of our game and forum, offering them bonuses and such. It is also the players responsibility not to fall for these tricks. We will never contact you outside of InfinityMU or inside, and we will never ask for your password. Make sure you don't open any suspicious links sent to you outside or inside of the game and ignore anyone who ask for your password. InfinityMU Staff Team doesn't need your password for solving an issue on your account or giving you rewards for Events.

Hacks
Using hacks or any type of third party software (including Macro), or otherwise manipulates game play experience is strictly forbidden.

Exploits
Hacking the game or in any way taking advantage of bugs and exploits is strictly forbidden. Even asking for these kind of things will lead to severe punishment. Not to mention distributing hacks or teaching the exploit to others! Hacks, bugs and exploits are dealt with as soon as we become aware of them.

Scams
Players which were caught scamming other players in the community or even just trying will be banned! Here is a link of how to keep your account safe: Link

Game bugs
Caught abusing any form of bug or exploit, your character will be temporarily banned plus inventory deleted and possible account ban without warning.

Reporting bugs
If you do happen to find a bug, hack or anything which can be abused in the game to players advantage, you *must* contact us! We will be most grateful for your cooperation and perhaps reward you with some game goods!

Stats Screenshot
When a Game Master asking you to take a screenshot of your character, you will have to do it immediately and PM it to them in forum or game with short and working links. (Edited Screenshots gonna be punished with temporary ban, and permanent depends on the reason you edited it)

Lag abusing
You are not allowed to make lags in order to kill players faster, of course, if someone will be reported, we will trace his IP, to check from where he is, so we will avoid banning users who are "too far from the server" or "who has very bad internet".

Guild Score abusing
Simulating guild war is forbidden. Once caught you will get warned by wiping your Guild's score and in second attempt guild master will be banned for a week. Third attempt of abuse will be followed by guild master character ban for a month.

Transformation Rings
Using of all types of Transformation Rings are not allowed inside of the Castle Siege event.

Pets
No pets are allowed to use inside of the Castle Siege Event (elfs are the one exceptions that can use and Dark Lord for using Horse but not allowed to seal using horse!)

Guild Registrations
No one is allowed to register fake guilds in Castle Siege.

Crown / Seals
Dropping items and the activation of items like the Gate of Kalima which block the Switches or Seal are not allowed.
Sealing with Pets (Fenrir, Uniria & Dark Horse) is not allowed.

Ruining the Event
Ruining CS event can be done by holding Switch 1 without trying to hold Switch 2 or without trying to Seal for example. If that happens and your Alliance gets reported you a running a chance to be disqualified and blocked from 1 day up to 1 month depending the situation. Joining CS just to keep switch without even single try to keep other switch or seal at least in 10 minutes will lead to DQ and ban without notice. Bans for this are by character and up to 1 day / month depending on the situation. Sometimes you might be warned and if you don't follow the GM orders then lead to disconnected + banned by account.

Disturbing Castle Siege
Only players of registered Guilds in Castle Siege Guilds are allowed to be in Valley of Loren during the Warfare. Any PK is forbidden if you are not part of any guild!

Required Recording in Castle Siege Event for Game Master / Sealer.
All Guild Masters who seal in CS must record their gameplay at least in 720p quality (not required to be LIVE stream or public video, just make it "hidden" in your YT channel) and provide a gm team a link with the video of your seal in private if GM team request it in case of detected suspicious movements or "non" moving char @ Crown. Because of last ban, we verify that some "no move" seals are Visual bug, Starting now its hard determine between a "anti-push" hack vs. a visual bug move of sealers and we know also that anti push hack really exist on paid hacks like v******. for that reason, we must implement a solution like requiring sealers to provide the gm team a video, at least Private video only gm's can see. If you happen to not know this new rule and you get asked for a video then you must be live streaming next castle siege event and very next CS you will have to start recording your gameplay @ CS event --> Only if you going to seal. No bans will be issued from now on for "anti push" ban reason. We will give chances to everyone show their gameplay is clean.

Shield Skill Abuses
Players who have been caught using shield skill all of the time in the duel room will be banned from the server for 7 days period of time. (all times)

Duel Simulating and Buying
Players who have been caught simulating duels or buying duels (pay for someone to lose) or making duels with them self will be banned temporarily!

Running in duel room
Players who have been caught running from their opponent: You are free to leave the duel room any time you want, but if you are caught on video that you only run from your opponent then you will be banned temporarily.

Refusing to pay bet after lost a official duel
If a person make a official duel challenge via forum/private duel challenge and then he/she lose that duel and refuse to pay the bet due DC/lag/lost connection and so on .. then he/she will be banned.

1. No Teaming, No Trade Abuse, No Kill Feeding, No Buffs but your Own.
Failed to follow and you will be disqualified from the 3 month season event.

2. Players are not allowed to use Npc Buffer or give buffs otherwise they will be disqualified and banned, just use /offbuff command to stop your buffs in case you play Battle Event! Only exception is that you can use your own character class special buff, E.g. BK Swell Buff if you are BK, SM Mana Shield if you are SM, DL Crit Buff in case you are DL;

3. You must attack everyone and if you are reported with video or GM caught you playing in team you will be automatically disqualified from the 3 months event;

4. Party is strictly forbidden in the Battle Event;

5. Players are not allowed to participate for top 3 rewards with other characters if they are already in top 3.

General
Under any circumstances do not insult or harass other players. Your character or account will lead to temporary or permanent ban depending on the insulting and harassment. (You can report someone for insulting or if harassing you. All you have to do is to take a full chat log from the conversation and post it in our forums or mail us at support(at)infinitymu.net)

Advertising
You are not allowed to advertise other sites and even talking about it in-game or forum. Advertising, Discussing other MUservers will lead to permanent account and IP-range ban Avoid it to post or advertising pornographic contents, if you ignore this rule it will lead you to a permanent account or a possible IP-range + HardwareID ban.

Global chat (/post)
You are not allowed to spam via POST command, posting more than 5 messages in a minute is understandable, but 20-30 messages in a minute is treated with temporary character ban.

Normal chat
You are not allowed to spam in the normal game chat, posting repeatedly similar messages is considered spam and treated with temporary character ban.

Staff or Community Disrespect
Disrespecting the community or a Staff Member just because you are in a bad mood, found a bug or have your character banned is not acceptable. Playing in bad mood is already a wrong thing to do. Do not expect forgiveness if you are caught insulting the Server or any of its Staff Members. This is valid anywhere, not just when talking directly to a Staff member. If you have any complaints about a staff member, feel free to send a private message to the administration or post new thread in Staff Report section, but be reminded that we accept only genuine proofs.
