Password & Account Safety

• We encourage the use of complex passwords (letters + numbers) to ensure maximum safety.
• Do not lose your account information (secret answer/email); it is required to recover a lost password.
• Never distribute your account details. We are not responsible for account theft caused by sharing.
• Change your password regularly (at least once every two months).

In-Game Safety & Trading Tips

• Avoid trading with suspicious characters (e.g., low-level elves with no gear selling high-end items). Use common sense.
• Be wary of location changes. If someone selling in Lorencia asks to move to the Arena or asks you to join a guild/war before trading, DO NOT ACCEPT. This is a common scam tactic.
• Never trust anyone claiming they can "dupe" your items. Take a screenshot and report them immediately.
• Never "lend" items to strangers who want to "try them out." There is no need for this.
• Selling for items instead of Zen? Ensure your inventory has 2,000,000,000 Zen so players cannot buy your store items for Zen by mistake.
• Internet Cafe Safety: Always log out completely when leaving your seat so others cannot access your account.
• Internet Cafe Warning: Public computers may have keyloggers. Change your password immediately from a trusted device after playing at a cafe.
• NEVER TELL YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE. GMs will NEVER ask for your password. If someone claiming to be a GM asks for it, screenshot it and report them on the forum.
• Do not accept programs/files from other players. These are often keyloggers or hacks designed to steal your login ID.
• Only trust official InfinityMU Staff members listed HERE.
